- Why does your website show a guide price for some items ?
Our Stationery and Services are completely bespoke so we are unable to offer standard pricing. However, our aim is to provide clients with beautiful stationery and Unique Services within budget.
A quotation will be given after an initial consultation where we offer a number of ideas and prices before moving on to prepare samples.
Our Standard Service includes sourcing the materials required and once we have agreed on the design and located the ideal materials, we will reconfirm the price of your order before we go ahead.
There is no additional cost for the bespoke design work or the time it takes to source your materials.
Any guide price published on our site relate to the actual services shown and the material costs at the time of publishing.
- I like your ideas - what do I do next ?
Please contact us as early in your wedding planning as possible. Our bespoke service does require additional time due to material sourcing and none of our designs are 'ready made'.
As all orders are handmade to specific requirements, orders may take up to 10 weeks to be processed once the proofs have been agreed and signed off.
Most invitations are sent out three months before the date of the wedding, so you should build these timescales into your overall wedding plan. However, if you have just found our site but are running behind the suggested timescales, we may still be able to help. It's best to call.
If you are local we offer an initial no fee consultation where we can discuss your requirements. Evening and Weekend appointments are available.
Alternatively, we ask for a swatch of your material for colour matching and will work with you via phone, post and email.
- Do you charge for Samples ?
After our initial consultation, a deposit of £30.00 is payable before beginning work on a bespoke order and preparing samples. This will be deducted from the total cost of your confirmed order when an order is placed. However, it is not refundable if you do not wish to proceed.
- What do I do about Wording and Fonts ?
There are no standard layouts so you have the freedom to choose the wording and font you require on the invitation insert .We have a vast number of fonts available and assistance with layout recommendations is part of our standard service.
- Which numbers should I use when placing an Order ?
It is recommended that you order all stationery items (e.g. order of service, menus, place names etc.) at the same time as your day/evening invitations to ensure we order the correct stock levels for your requirements.
Numbers should be reconfirmed if there are any variations to your numbers once the RSVP's are returned by your guests. We will usually ask for reconfirmation of numbers before work commences on items such as place cards, favours and order of service.
- Can I order items from Wedding Services if I haven't ordered Wedding Stationery from you ?
Yes. Our Favours, Confetti Envelopes and Guest Wish Tree service can all be ordered separately from our stationery.
However, we do offer a loyalty discount if you order Stationery and Wedding Services from us. Orders must be placed at the same time.
If you require these items in less time, please contact us to see if we can process your order for your specific timescales.
- Can I order ribbon for my own use ?
If you would like to use the same ribbon from your stationery for flower arrangements , we will be happy to order an additional amount for your own use . Please confirm details when your stationery order is placed.
Terms & Conditions - Stationery
- £30 Deposit is payable after the initial consultation for bespoke sample work. This is non refundable if you do not wish to proceed with an order.
- 50% of the total order value is payable when the order is placed.
- The balance is payable once proofs have been approved.
- There are no Minimum Order Restrictions.
- Orders will be sent via Special Delivery, which will require a signature on delivery. Postage is charged at cost and will be confirmed prior to shipment. We do not make any profit on P&P.
- All personalisation data will be supplied by the client in the word document supplied by Ribbon & Roses. The guest name and address data should be entered as you would like them to appear within your stationery.
- Once proofs are signed, the order cannot be cancelled and is payable in full. If last minute changes are required there will be an additional cost for any work which has to be duplicated.
- Our designs are handmade to your individual requirements. Therefore we regret that refunds can only be given if the goods are found to be faulty or where your original specifications have not been met. As we want you to be delighted with your cards, in the unlikely event of there being any problems with your order, please contact us immediately so we have the opportunity to rectify the situation to your complete satisfaction.
- We go to great lengths to ensure your order is securely packaged and leaves us in perfect condition. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost or damaged in transit by our carrier. If you prefer, you may collect your order in person.
- Due to the handmade nature of the design and the products used, please note that there may be very minor variations between cards. However, we believe this adds to the charm and appeal of receiving a handmade card.
- Important notice. Please keep all beaded stationery away from babies and small children as these small parts are easily removable.
To help the environment, all our paper and vellum off cuts, are either recycled or donated to the local Marlow Bottom Pre-school and Primary school for art and craft projects.
- Civil Partnerships and Marriages receive the same level of service and commitment.
- A copy of our Wedding Services and Guest Wish Tree Terms and Conditions will be supplied with the quotation or can be emailed on request.
